Economics & Management
Our Mission is to equip students to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems through excellent, liberal arts education and experiential learning, which enables students to become ethical and entrepreneurial leaders.
Students can experiment with putting innovative ideas into action at the annual Entrepreneurship Competition hosted on campus. Entrepreneurship requires critical thinking, promotes creativity and resilience, teaches how to deal with ambiguity, and allows students to learn what questions to ask, and where to look for answers.
This program matches Gustavus students with a Gustavus alum, parent, or friend for a mentoring relationship. It prepares students for their transition to professional life upon graduation.
Each semester, Gustavus holds an Involvement Fair where students are able to discover 100+ student organizations. This is a great opportunity to learn about our E/M organizations and join!
Alumnae, students and friends are the heart of this unique program which inspires women in their personal and professional leadership.
